Clinical Update: Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening

Training Description
In addition to contraceptive services and related counseling, Title X-supported clinics provide a number of related preventive health services such as breast and pelvic examinations and breast and cervical cancer screening according to nationally recognized standards of care. Morbidity and mortality from cervical cancer can be greatly enhanced by appropriate screening, diagnosis, and referral of abnormal pap smear results. This training will focus on diagnosis, treatment, and appropriate referrals for breast health, abnormal pap smear and other common cervical anomalies.
