Who Should Attend? NATISHE is for professionals
who facilitate youth and/or adult learning about sexuality and related
topics. These professionals can include: Community
educators working for health and social service agencies such as family
planning centers, health departments, AIDS prevention projects,
substance abuse treatment programs and/or prevention centers, rape
crisis programs, faith-based organizations, and other CBOs Established or new school-based classroom teachers Generalists or specialists teaching a variety of subjects including HIV and STI prevention, family planning, teen pregnancy prevention, family life education, sexuality, and many others
What I liked about NATISHE: The honesty from peers and the comprehensiveness of the activities and workshops. In order to receive a Certificate of Completion, all participants must stay for the NATISHE Conference until the completion of the closing ceremony on Thursday, October 13, 2011.
