Professional Development
Plenaries
Plenaries
at NATISHE 2.0 will allow educators to learn and practice the basic
skills that are necessary to deliver a successful educational program.
Each plenary will provide tools to allow participants to build a
foundation for an educational program. Plenary content builds throughout
the week, providing educators with a strong framework developing
training programs.
Evidence-Based Intervention
In response to growing
attention and funding for evidence-based intervention in the field of
sexual health, NATISHE will include sessions designed to increase
participants' ability to identify and select appropriate evidence-based
interventions as well as successfully implement these in existing
programs.
Observation and Support Groups
|
What I liked about NATISHE: The people and the way concepts were presented, in addition to the setting!

Practice and Support (PS) Groups are a unique feature of NATISHE. Small groups meet throughout the training to provide participants with support, guidance and feedback to aid in the development of their professional skills. PS Groups generally consist of 8 to 10 participants and are led by a Core Staff member.
