CONFERENCE OVERVIEW
This three day conference is designed to provide family planning agencies and
other community based organizations that serve vulnerable populations an
opportunity to examine promising practices in the areas of clinic efficiency;
HIV counseling and testing, male services, fiscal management, adolescent health
and clinic operations.
Participants will increase their knowledge and skills through a combination of
panel presentations, plenary sessions and small group workshops to increase
their capabilities in managing family planning services.
CONFERENCE
OBJECTIVES:
As a result of this conference participants will be able to:

Discuss some of the key
issues facing family planning in the upcoming years

Examine the issues of clinic efficiency and fiscal
management

Develop strategies for providing male services
-
Explore the key issues in services to adolescents
-
Examine the many facets
of providing family planning services to vulnerable populations
-
Examine key strategies
to patient recruitment and retention
This conference
is designed for management level staff
from Region II family planning delegate and grantee organizations.
** All
presentations will have simultaneous translation.
Poster and Display Table

participating in the Poster Exhibit. The exhibit will be displayed at the
reception on Day 1 and in the workshop foyer on Days 2 and 3.
Poster and Display Table Instructions
- Skirted tables (6’ x 4’) will be provided for Table Displays
- 3’ x 4’ Styrofoam tri-folds will be provided for Poster Presentations
- Electrical and internet service WILL NOT be available
- SETUP: Monday, May 19th prior to 5:00 pm
- Table Signs will be provided
