Cicatelli Associates Inc. (CAI) is a private, non profit educational
organization that has been providing training, technical assistance,
curriculum development, clinical consultation, and other capacity
building services to health and human service providers for almost 30
years. CAI has a long history of working with chemical dependence
services agencies providing training, technical assistance,
mentoring, and policy guidance for integrating tobacco use and other
interventions into services. Visit
www.cicatelli.org to learn more about CAI.
The Tobacco Interventions
Project was designed to
help OASAS funded and/ or certified chemical dependence service
providers implement OASAS regulations by integrating tobacco use
interventions (tobacco-free environment policies, tobacco education,
and tobacco dependence treatment) into existing treatment protocol.
As the Regional Technical Assistance Center for NYC Region 1, CAI
has been providing training and technical assistance to chemical
dependency providers in Manhattan and Brooklyn. This program has
been highly successful, and our training programs have been attended
by providers through out the New York City metropolitan area.
At this point,
Cicatelli Associates Inc. has no further training programs scheduled
for the Tobacco Interventions Project, which started July 2008.
Training programs are available online. For information regarding
online courses from the Tobacco Interventions Project and other
