Eligibility Requirements

Participation in the LTI’s training “Self-Management: Becoming Your Own Health Care Advocate” is open to individuals living with HIV/AIDS in New York State who
NYS + NYC	want to learn more about their own HIV health care   want to work more effectively with their health care providers   are willing to work with a peer mentor for six months following the training
Participation in the LTI’s “HIV Planning Council” trainings is open to individuals living with HIV/AIDS in New York City, Westchester, Rockland and Putnam Counties who
NYC only	are members of the New York City HIV Planning Council, its committees and/or its PLWHA Advisory Group and want to improve their skills for participation in Planning Council processes   are considering getting involved in the Planning Council’s work   are already involved but would like to learn more about what these groups do and how to contribute to their work
