Participation in the LTI’s training “Young Adult Self-Management: Becoming Your Own Health Care Advocate”
is open to young adult individuals, ages 18 – 24 living with HIV/AIDS in New York State who |

- want to learn more about their own HIV health care
- are not very recently diagnosed
- are currently in care
- want to work more effectively with their health care providers
- are willing to work with a young adult peer mentor for six months following the training

Participation in the LTI’s “HIV Planning
Council” trainings is open to individuals living with
HIV/AIDS in New York City, Westchester, Rockland and Putnam
Counties who |

NYC
only |
- are members of the New York
City HIV Planning Council, its committees and/or its PLWHA
Advisory Group and want to improve their skills for
participation in Planning Council processes
- are considering getting
involved in the Planning Council’s work
- are already involved but
would like to learn more about what these groups do and how
to contribute to their work
