Free, tailored, on-site Technical Assistance (TA) is now available
to Ryan White Grantees on the topic of
Recruitment and Retention of HIV+ Women into Services
As part of the
national Consumer-Provider Partnership Project funded through the
HIV/AIDS Bureau at HRSA, Cicatelli Associates is pleased to offer
this on-site, technical assistance opportunity to Ryan White
Grantees.
Goal of TA:
To help agencies develop partnerships between their staff and HIV+
women consumers in order to improve the recruitment and retention of
hard-to-reach, vulnerable HIV+ women who are not in care. These
partnerships will also contribute to the provision of comprehensive,
coordinated and culturally competent family-centered HIV care that
includes the active involvement of consumers in their own care.
Who is eligible
for this TA?
- Ryan White Funded Part D grantees that work with HIV+ women and
their families will be given first preference. Part A, B, and C
Ryan White funded grantees are eligible to apply.
Who should
participate in this TA?
– Participants may include care providers, agency staff, and
consumer women. The consumers selected would have been successful in
the past in managing their own health care, and capable of being
positive role models to other consumers.
