Center of Excellence for Family Planning

The New York State Center of Excellence for Family Planning and Reproductive Health Services (NYS COE) is an innovative, more effective approach for delivering targeted and timely training, technical assistance, and resources to New York State family planning providers. Funded by the New York State Department of Health (NYS DOH), the NYS COE supports New York State family planning providers in two key areas:

1. Implementation of operational best practices to ensure fiscal sustainability in today's changing healthcare environment; and
2. Delivery of quality of services through the adoption of evidence-based and cutting-edge clinical practices and continuous quality improvement activities.

Contributing to its success is the NYS COE's ability to identify the distinct needs of family planning providers, and its capacity to leverage the resources and knowledge within CAI and the broader family planning community to meet these needs.
