CAI is a non-profit tax-exempt 501(c)(3) capacity
building organization, incorporated in 1979, that provides
training, technical assistance (TA), capacity building,
resource development, database development and monitoring
and evaluation services to community-based providers serving
high risk and racial/ethnic minority communities.
The
mission of CAI is to enhance the breadth and quality
of health care and social services delivered to
low-income communities, with an emphasis on women,
minorities, and people with disabilities, and to assure
that services are culturally sensitive and appropriate
to their needs.
Center for Addictions Training and
Technical Assistance (CATTA)
The
Center for Addictions Training and Technical Assistance (CATTA)
formally known as SAATI, offers training to staff of
substance abuse and alcoholism treatment agencies in all
modalities. CATTA provides continuing education credits
through New York State OASAS to participants who complete
its training programs; participants may apply their earned
credits towards their CASAC credentialing requirements.
The National Training Center (NTC)
for Family Planning assists OPA/OFP and their Title X Regional
Training Centers in planning, developing, and coordinating training
activities to enhance and support training of personnel carrying out Family Planning service programs.
Victim Assistance Training
Online (VAT Online)
Cicatelli
Associates Inc. recently completed an on-line training
program for service providers who work with victims of
crime. Victim Assistance Training Online (VAT Online) was
developed by Cicatelli Associates Inc with funding from the
Office for Victims of Crime. It was developed in partnership
with the National Center for Victims of Crime and Safe
Horizon, Inc.
