About Technical Assistance

Human services organizations need the capacity and flexibility to adapt to rapid changes in the environment. Organizations must be able to respond to emerging health and social crises as well as policy changes that significantly affect the communities they serve. In recent years, changes in welfare and immigration policies and transitions to Medicare and Medicaid managed care have challenged many organizations. Shrinking government and private funding, together with increased competition for funds, have added to the demands faced by agencies.

Cicatelli Associates Inc. (CAI) offers expert technical assistance to help agencies re-think structure and operations and integrate new approaches to quality, customer service, and cost into delivery systems. CAI’s customized technical assistance helps organizations to plan, implement, and monitor specific programs and services that address emerging needs. Agencies receiving technical assistance have been able to implement new programs, improve patient satisfaction, increase the use of client data to improve the quality of care, decrease client appointment wait times, and expand agency services. Over 300 service organizations have benefited from CAI’s personalized technical assistance.
