This training is designed for individuals who want to better manage their HIV health care. Medical information, communication skills building and peer support are combined in an interactive educational experience created by and for PWHA

NYC “HIV Planning Council” Training Series
(open to HIV+ residents of NY City, and Westchester, Rockland and Putnam Counties)
The first two workshops in this series focus on Part A of the federal Ryan White program and its process of community planning and decision making. The third workshop in the series helps you understand what makes working groups work – and NOT work! – and is applicable to any The trainings allow you to learn the information and skills necessary to strengthen the influence that you can have as a PWHA in community planning and funding decisions. Best taken in the order listed below, , or—to become the strongest advocate you can be—all three!
