MexicoHIV/AIDS treatment and adherence, Mexico

CAI conducted two trainings focusing on HIV/AIDS treatment and adherence for health care providers, PWHAs, psychologists and social service workers representing all 32 states of Mexico. These workshops were organized in collaboration with CENSIDA (The National Center for HIV/AIDS of the Ministry of Health) and FRENPAVIH (Frente Nacional de Personas Afectadas por el VIH/SIDA, the national PWHA network). This initiative responded to a request to help strengthen the HIV health care infrastructure and support the implementation of the national strategic plan to combat HIV/AIDS in Mexico. The trainings were co-sponsored by CENSIDA, the New York Community Trust and its corporate affiliate Community Funds Inc.
