Central American Regional AIDS Conference (CONCASIDA)November 2007, Nicaragua
CONCASIDA took place in Managua, Nicaragua from November, 5-9, 2007. The goal of this conference was to better the response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Central America. The following sessions were included in the itinerary for the Conference: Raising awareness and preventing HIV/AIDS, Strategies to an attitude change in HIV/AIDS prevention, and a workshop in Planning, monitoring, and evaluating said projects.Four Cicatelli staff members attended the conference and participated in the four-day events that took place.
November 2005, El Salvador
The IV Central American Regional AIDS Conference (CONCASIDA) took place in San Salvador, El Salvador from November 7-11, 2005. The goal of this conference was to “Unite minds, hearts and wills to generate a better understanding of the great social, health, and research challenge that is HIV/AIDS and the people who live with it.”October 2003, Panama
CAI co-facilitated a workshop series on PWHA leadership, support groups and treatment adherence with REDCA+. CAI also presented a session on the importance of the multidisciplinary team approach to HIV service delivery and the meaningful involvement of PWHAs in service provision.
