HIV/AIDS and Human Rights
March 2004 - September 2005
Through funding from the Academy for Educational Development (AED), CAI facilitated a series of 2-day workshops addressing HIV/AIDS and Human Rights. Participants for this workshop included PWHA advocates and human rights activists. An important focus of this workshop series was to provide the opportunity for human rights activists and PWHA advocates to work together in order to promote the human rights of PWHAs throughout Central America by motivating human rights agencies to integrate HIV/AIDS into their work.
