HIV/AIDS Technical Assistance, Caribbean Region
January–December 2004
With funding from the US Department of State Bureau of Cultural and Educational Affairs, CAI responded to country-level requests in the Caribbean to provide technical assistance in select Caribbean countries. This project was a continuation of the NY LINK program and worked with trained multidisciplinary teams from previous NY LINK programs in country to replicate and adapt training programs to meet local needs. The most recent workshops took place in October in Barbados and St Kitts where CAI delivered two 2-day trainings addressing HIV 101, Behavior Change and Adherence to audiences composed of PWHAs, clinicians, social workers and staff from a variety of public sector organizations
