Regional Skills Building Workshop for Regional and National Civil Society Organizations Working in the Area of HIV/AIDS, Barbados

At the request of UNAIDS, CAI aided in the development and implementation of a 4-day Skills Building Workshop for Caribbean HIV/AIDS Civil Society Organization (CSO) representatives. The workshop was divided into three tracks and covered topics including Advocacy Strategies, Collaboration and Building Coalitions, Resource Mobilization, Management of Resources, Organizational Planning, and Monitoring and Evaluation. The workshop took place in Barbados and catered to participants from across the region, thus contributing to an expanded role for CSOs in the response to HIV/AIDS at the country level and for the region as a whole.
