CAI
went to Mongolia in January and February of 2007 to conduct a
stage-based counseling training program. This 5-day TOT was translated
by the National AIDS Foundation
(NAF)
to facilitate the understanding of the participants. The goal of this
TOT (Training of Trainers) program was to assist the AIDS Services in
Mongolia in providing participants with the knowledge and skills they
need to implement and use a Stage Based Counseling (SBC) approach in
their work, and to train others in the implementation and use of SBC.
Although at times, challenging, the program was successful.
