Counseling Skills and Needs Identification
Goal: To develop comprehensive training programs for HIV/AIDS prevention education and enhance the counseling skills of participants that aim to deliver these programs to their communities at large.
Objectives:
· Develop training programs that follow current theories in adult learning using the Experiential Learning Cycle.
· Practice the Task Analysis approach in designing programs to be comprehensive and specific to the needs of the audiences.
· Develop skills in creating educational activities that improve learning and retention.
· Develop facilitation skills to address difficult situations during future training.
