Training Skills Goal: To provide participants with models to utilize in adult education in order to cover various educational topics related to HIV/AIDS. Objectives: · Define the workshop and the role of the trainer. · Identify the characteristics of an effective trainer. · Identify individual strengths and weaknesses as a trainer. · Explore and discuss the impact of values and perceptions on the role of a trainer. · Understand the relationship between different training and learning styles. · Acquire and practice the principles of adult learning and the experiential learning cycle. · Practice three essential skills to improve communication.
