Multidisciplinary Team Development
Goal: To assist participants in the development of multidisciplinary teams of physicians, nurses and PWHA.
Objectives:
· Emphasize the important of using a multidisciplinary team approach in order to tackle HIV/AIDS issues.
· Reinforce skills in order to develop and maintain linkages and/or teams to deal with HIV/AIDS issues.
· Identify the role of each participant that will play a role within a network and/or team in order to deal with HIV/AIDS issues as well as to socialize the important of each member of the multisectoral team.
· Explain ways in which the role of each team member is important in order to achieve the general goal(s) of the team.
Develop strategies to resolve problems associated with the creation of teams and linkages, using acquired skills to problem-solve.
