Building
on over two decades of experience in HIV/AIDS prevention,
care, and treatment, CAI International aims to improve
health care, support services, and treatment access
for people living with HIV/AIDS (PWLHA) internationally
and those residing in the United States through training-of-trainers
(TOT), capacity building, infrastructure development,
and resource exchange. |
Currently, we are focusing our efforts on the Caribbean, Central
America, and Mexico, due to our geographic proximity to these
regions, our long experience in working with people from these
countries, and the extensive migration of people between these
countries and New York City. Additionally, this region has
some of the highest rates of HIV/AIDS in the world and very
few resources available.
