Early Childhood CAI’s Training Center for Early Childhood and Family Development serves early childhood providers, and in particular, providers working with low-income and at-risk children. Our training is built on an understanding of child development and its relationship to how children learn. We help adults develop and/or update their knowledge, skills, and abilities to create and sustain a dynamic environment in which children can grow, develop, and learn. The Center's services include: Training programs for early childhood workers, parents, and professionals, built on principles that support children's well-being, healthy growth, and active learning. Conferences, retreats, and workshops that focus on critical social issues affecting children and that explore and plan avenues for effective action. Technical assistance in program management, planning, supervision, fundraising, evaluation, and other skills needed by early childhood leaders.
