Training Association (ESTA)
CAI offers other programs related to Behavioral
Health and Substance Abuse.
| The
Empire State Training Association (ESTA) was a consortium
of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Training agencies
throughout New York State. The consortium was funded
through a grant from the New York State Office of
Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS), and
was formed with the collaboration of the New York
State Association of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse
Providers, Inc. |

Goals
of ESTA included:
- Providing
free, CASAC-approved training to staff at OASAS-licensed
Treatment & Prevention programs.
- Seeking
to enhance the quality of training available to treatment
and prevention staff in New York State.
- Working
to increase the number of certified Substance Abuse Treatment
and Prevention Providers in New York State.
