Welcome
The Community Action
for Prenatal Care (CAPC) program funded by the New York
State Department of Health AIDS Institute is a
comprehensive initiative with the goal of improving
health outcomes among the most at-risk pregnant women.
The project has a multi-disciplinary approach that
utilizes outreach to at-risk women, navigation into
services, clinical coordination, and follow-up.

As part of the project, Cicatelli Associates Inc. (CAI)
provides a wide range of training and
webinar
opportunities for enhanced outreach workers,
supervisors, prenatal providers, and substance use
treatment providers that are part of the CAPC community
coalitions in Buffalo, Bronx, Manhattan, and Brooklyn.
Our training topics include enhanced outreach, substance use, domestic
violence, harm reduction and
pregnancy, perinatal transmission of HIV, immigrant
issues, and trauma-informed care.
CAI has been an
essential part of the CAPC Program since 1999. Since
then, CAI has conducted over 470 CAPC training
programs that have reached more than 10,000 participants.
